Pindari Adventure Camping, NSW

Bluewater Campers loves seeing their owners visit the hidden gems that Australia has to offer, that is why each month we are finding some of Australia’s best kept secrets and locations for you and your family to visit with your Bluewater Camper Trailer! Whether they are caravan and camping parks with all the amenities or off the beaten track bush camping we want to uncover them all!

Pindari Adventures has well over 2,000 acres of beautiful country including a large paddock of grass trees, amazing rock formations, natural swimming holes, magnificent water falls plus 10km frontage to the Pindari dam with its own impressive rock formations such as El Capitan on Platypus Island.  The property is home to a large variety of flora and fauna.

The grass tree (Xanthorrhoea) paddock has thousands of these magnificent plants many hundreds of years old and several metres in height.  Although there are 10kms of frontage to the dam there are only two access points. The rocky gorges and huge granite outcrops are a magnificent sight rising straight up out of the water.  All manner of fish in the dam including Murray Cod, Yellow Belly and Redfin. Riding and walk trails a plenty and many great swimming spots.

Pindari Adventure Camping is a venture that has sprung from a long and successful history in Outdoor Education. Its founder Barry Rodgers OAM, an experienced educator, has a passion for seeing families sharing adventures together in the great Australian outdoors.

He is the founder of the Emu Gully Adventure Education Group, Helidon, QLD, which has run highly successful Adventure Camping programs for schools in Queensland for 25 years including 19 years on this unique 2270 acre property bordering the Pindari Dam in Northern New South Wales.
