Doing things the Aussie way for over 20 years
From the first prototype to our latest hybrid range, Bluewater has always stood for practical design, rugged reliability, and genuine local support. All our campers are built to handle the kind of conditions most gear can’t, and to make life easier when you’re deep off the grid.
Over the last 20 years, that focus hasn’t shifted. Our team still designs and fits everything in-house right here in WA, using the same hands-on approach that’s earned the trust of off-roaders across the country.
Proudly Aussie-owned, built and backed from day one
Bluewater was founded at the beginning of the 2000s by a team of off-road enthusiasts who saw a gap in the market: too many campers were built for highways and holiday parts, but there weren’t enough made specifically for off-grid touring. That’s when we set out to build campers specially made to endure Australia’s tough remote terrain.
In the years that followed, demand only grew. Bluewater became part of Eagle Outdoors, a larger camper group which gave us the ability to scale up production and broaden our range, without losing our hands-on, Aussie approach. Over the last decade, the hybrid category took off, and Bluewater’s rugged, practical builds earned a loyal national following.
In 2023, Bluewater officially became its own standalone company again, led by the same team that started the company over 20 years ago. Through it all, our focus has stayed the same: building tough campers for serious off-road adventures, and backing every customer with local support they can count on.
